Had to reset my serial terminal when I switched between them!
Not even the serial port! Was working on two switches and one is 9600 and the other is 115000, and no way to change it. So glad I pulled a spreadsheet! Initial setup and provisioning (Central or local) takes twice as long as any other AP. We found a bug where it renamed all 150 carefully named APs back to the mac address. Every time they update the central software, they move things. (Avoid the UDM Pro) And support is your reseller or a consultant. Also bad about releasing product too early, and canceling underperforming product lines. Wait a week before upgrading to see who is cursing at it. Very bad about releasing unstable software. The GUI is clean and does not change every rev, and support is generally very good.Ģ) Unifi - Good hardware, and the linux based software controller is quite good. But at least you know where your money went. And my insights.ġ) Meraki - Best in class and priced accordingly.

(At least the first three.) I just finished a 150 AP Aruba central, and a much smaller Aruba local VC install as well.
I do installs on many of these all the time.
